Nexus Security Network
NSN advises. Server owners decide.
Nexus Security Network is a risk assessment platform — not a public blocklist and not an automatic moderation system. All final decisions remain entirely with the server owner.
What NSN is
NSN is a community-driven threat intelligence and risk assessment platform. It helps server owners make better-informed security decisions about users who have been reported for harmful behavior across multiple servers.
What NSN is NOT
NSN never bans, kicks, mutes, or takes any automatic moderation action. NSN is not a public blocklist. No user is automatically restricted based on NSN data alone.
How risk assessments work
Reports are submitted by server administrators. Every report is reviewed by a human before any risk level is assigned. A single report is never sufficient for a high risk designation. Reviewers weigh evidence quality, severity, independent reports, and prior history.
Privacy in NSN
NSN stores the minimum data necessary. Raw evidence is not shown to server owners. Users receive a notification when a confirmed risk assessment is finalized. An appeal process is available for all assessments.
Voluntary participation
Participation in NSN is completely voluntary for both servers and users. Servers can opt out at any time. Opting out stops all NSN data sharing for that server.
Appeals
Any user with an NSN risk assessment can submit an appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a different reviewer than the original assessment. Outcomes are documented and the assessment is updated accordingly.
NSN provides risk assessments only. All moderation decisions remain entirely with the server owner.
