NexusForgeBot is designed with privacy, security, and transparency as foundational principles — not added as an afterthought. This page describes the design principles we apply throughout the platform.
Privacy by Design
Privacy is built into the architecture of NexusForgeBot from the ground up. Data minimization, purpose limitation, and storage limitation are core constraints during development — not optional additions.
Privacy by Default
All privacy-sensitive features default to the most privacy-protective setting. For example, NSN participation is off by default and requires explicit opt-in by the server owner.
Security by Design
Security controls are built into the platform architecture: access controls, rate limiting, input validation, event logging, and audit trails are standard components — not optional extras.
Data minimization
We collect only the data necessary for the platform to function. We do not read message content, collect behavioral data outside our platform, or create profiles beyond what is required for the service.
Transparency
This Trust Center documents how the platform works, what data is collected, how long it is kept, and how you can exercise your rights. We aim to be honest and clear about what we do and do not do.
Accountability
All significant platform actions are logged in our internal audit trail. Privacy-relevant actions have their own dedicated privacy audit log. We maintain records of retention jobs, anonymization operations, and privacy request handling.
Continuous improvement
We conduct regular internal security and privacy health checks. We track outdated dependencies, review our data practices, and update our policies and technical controls as the platform evolves.
